1. Rinse your mouth thoroughly with Listerine antiseptic mouth wash any time you eat, drink, or smoke.
2. Repeat step one for two weeks. Healing should be complete within two to three weeks
3. To help control swelling, you may take an anti-inflammatory such as Ibuprofen or Naproxen as directed on the packaging.
4. We recommend avoiding smoking and drinking beer for the first week.
5. For a Lip or labret piercing please follow the general piercing instructions for the outside of your piercing.

1.Wait 12 hours. Then, clean with a mild antiseptic, repeat twice a day. We recommend using Bactine available at any pharmacy.
2.Additionally, you should wash the piercing twice a day with antibacterial soap.
A. Wash your hands
B. Lather the soap in your hands
C. Rub the soap on the outside of the piercing, removing any dried blood etc.
D. Gently move the jewelry in and out to clean the inside of the piercing
E. Rinse
3.Avoid
A. Touching or playing with the new piercing.
B. Public pools, rivers, lakes, etc for 6 to 8 weeks.
4.If possible, soaking your new piercing once a day in a sea salt solution will accelerate healing.
