Text Box: After Dark New Tattoo Care After 2 hours, remove bandage and wash gently with a mild soap and water. Do not scrub. Allow the tattoo to air dry. Do not rebandage. Repeat washing twice a day for 2 days. Avoid soaking the new tattoo (no swimming or baths, etc.) for 2 weeks. After 2 days, apply a very small amount of Lubriderm lotion 3 times a day for three weeks. DO NOT expose to direct sunlight for one month. Afterwards, use sun block when outside. DO NOT pick or scratch at your tattoo. Proper care during the healing process will ensure the detail and color of your new tattoo.
